Cowboy crafts activities for kids – Coloring book fridge magnets!

Recently we have been getting many requests for Cowboy crafts activities for kids. We are happy to provide some ideas for you! More will follow this one in the future because we here at homemade crafts love cowboys and all the different crafts that can be associated with them!

Cowboy crafts activities for kids are really fun and sometimes kids have a real love for cowboys. This craft is somewhat for younger children, but older kids can do it to if they think it will be fun.

Cowboy crafts activities for kids – Coloring book fridge magnets – Materials: Peel and stick button magnets (can be found at any craft store or Walmart) A print out of a coloring book print featuring cowboys! Some can be found here: http://coloringbookfun.com/cowboy/ Coloring pencils or water based paints. Directions: Print out a coloring book cowboy character. Color in the character. Attach the peel and stick magnets to the character. Put the character on the fridge or black board. **OR use a magnet sheet and cut out around the character so the whole character is a magnet. This may require a glue stick if the magnet isn’t a peel and stick.

There you have it, one of the many cowboy crafts activities for kids that will be on this site. Kids could also use paints in this craft. Sometimes we find that paint takes longer to clean up and it doesn’t look as good sometimes. Crayons could also work. We hope you enjoy this craft and feel free to use it in the classroom or at home. As always we would like some feedback on our crafts. There is a comment form below that you can fill out if you wish. We will respond if you ask a question as well.
