Neil Warnock wants to get rid of his Carlos Tevez toothache

The QPR boss and his newly-promoted team make their top-flight return at home to the Trotters tomorrow.

"But every morning and every night I kept thinking about what had happened and the circumstances. It was like having toothache.

"Eventually, I had to get back into the game. I couldn't finish like that.

"Simon Jordan kept pestering me to join Palace.

"I have to say my whole life has changed since I met him. I remember sitting alongside him when my being appointed as Palace manager was announced, knowing everyone was thinking 'How can those two work together? It'll be a disaster'.

"But we had a fantastic relationship. I succeeded in getting my confidence and enthusiasm back.

"Palace were in a dire situation. Yet we got the pride and the passion into the club again, which was a fantastic achievement.

"I really enjoyed it and it made me want to have another crack at the Premier League.

"This came along at QPR and I just grasped it.
